The Pearl: Provision House

The Pearl: Provision House

The Pearl: Provision House

-A safe and nurturing environment for expecting mothers
-Medical Resources
-Holistic/Natural Medical support
-The women’s needs will be supported during and after each medical visit.
-Supported before/during/after the birth.
-Physical, emotional and spiritual support both during pregnancy and postpartum.
-Overall support in the transition from the birth to adoption.
-Facilitation of the adoption process
-Reintegration support after the birth/postpartum care

The honor that we assign to the pregnancy process and the reason we want to uniquely support women who are balancing ‘what to do next,’ has nothing to do with our own opinion of abortion or opinion of a woman’s right to choose.

The value, the sacredness and the dignity that we assign to LIFE itself no matter its context for conception is not a matter of our opinion but is rather a matter of God’s opinion and His incredibly high view of the human life as evident in the Scriptures and in the life and teaching of Jesus.

(Coming in the Fall of 2021)

The Pearl: Provision House is an Alternative House for pregnant women who are coming from a vulnerable environment who have opted to keep their baby or opted for adoption instead of the alternative of abortion.

This is simply an option.

We want to honor and support the women who choose a long and hard road through pregnancy to adoption, but who may not have an environment or resources of their own that will support their decision to do so.

We have heard from lots of our women who have said that they would have chosen adoption or kept their baby instead of abortion IF they had a supportive environment throughout the entire process.

The Provision House will be a live-in alternative house (option).

The House staff will offer nurturing emotional and spiritual support in a variety of ways:

-A safe and nurturing environment
-Medical Resources
-Holistic Medical support
-The women will be supported during and after each medical visit.
-Supported before/during/after the birth.
-Physical, emotional and spiritual support both during pregnancy and postpartum.
-Overall support in the transition from the birth to adoption.
-Facilitation of the adoption process
-Reintegration support after the birth

Our aim here is not to shame anyone or anything, so please hear our heart correctly on this. This will simply be one option out of many.Untitled design-3 When there’s a fork in the road and you don’t know which way to choose. Move toward the light.

Why do we want to offer this to opportunity?

The honor that we assign to the pregnancy process and the reason we want to uniquely support women who are balancing ‘what to do next,’ has nothing to do with our own opinion of abortion or opinion of a woman’s right to choose.

The value, the sacredness and the dignity that we assign to LIFE itself no matter its context for conception is not a matter of our opinion but is rather a matter of God’s opinion and His incredibly high view of the human life.

The Bible says that we are all made in the image of God with His breath in our lungs. So for us, life is therefore dignified, sacred, and independent of opinion, from conception until death.

The pull is strong in our culture to simplify and remedy. Yet we still believe that God’s perspective is the one that’s true, that’s trustworthy, that has our best interest in view, and is usually the most difficult.

“Come out of hiding, You’re safe here with Me
There’s no need to cover What I already see

You’ve got your reasons, But I hold your peace
You’ve been on lock-down And I hold the key

I loved you before you knew it was love
And I saw it all, still I chose the cross
And you were the one that I was thinking of
When I rose from the grave

Now rid of the shackles, My victory’s yours
I tore the veil for you to come close
There’s no reason to stand at a distance anymore
You’re not far from home

And now I’ll be your lighthouse When you’re lost at sea
And I will illuminate Everything
No need to be frightened by intimacy
No, just throw off your fear
And come running to Me

I loved you before you knew it was love
And I saw it all, still I chose the cross
And you…

And oh as you run, what hindered love will only become part of the story.
Baby you’re almost home now.
Please don’t quit now, you’re almost home to me. “
Steffany Gretzinger, Out of Hiding

We are developing topic-specific resources for our Provision House women to have available to them while participating in The Pearl: Provision House.

This includes medical resources, as well as literature, counseling, and one-on-one mentorship.

This also includes an optional adoption process facilitation.

While taking part in The Pearl: Provision House, women are able to join other women in support groups, community outreach, volunteer projects, agricultural therapy, as well as the ability to return to the Provision House in the future as a mentor.

We are creating as many opportunities as well can for friendship, for story, for belonging, and a deeply rooted sense of community in the most holistic ways possible.
